Ms. Arifa Saboohi's Profile
An officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, Arifa Saboohi has held both field and staff assignments in the Federal Government and the Government of the Punjab in a career spanning over 32 years. Among other positions, she has served as Deputy Commissioner, Vehari; Administrator, Metropolitan Corporation Lahore; Member (Social Sectors), Planning and Development Board, Government of Punjab; Secretary to Government of Punjab, Higher Education Department; Joint Secretary, Ministry of Industries; and Production and Special Initiatives and Member (Finance) WAPDA. Since November 2008, Arifa Saboohi has served on instructional positions in both pre and in-service public sector training institutes of Pakistan i.e. Civil Services Academy, National Institute of Management, and the National Management College, Lahore.
Ms. Saboohi is a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow (Pennsylvania State University), and has also completed the Executive Development Leadership Programme from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
